The United States Women’s National Hockey Teams squares off with Canada in Game 6 of the 2023-24 Rivalry Series at Brandt Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan on Friday, February 9 (2/9/2024) at 8 p.m. ET.

The USA is coming of its second straight loss in the 2023-24 Rivalry Series. After winning the first three games of the series, Game 4 went to a shootout, and Game 5 was a clear cut 4-2 win for Canada. Canada’s Ashton Bell and Renata Fast scored in a 2:38 span of the third period to take the lead in a comeback performance, with an empty net goal from Brianne Jenner and Laura Stacey in the final minute.

Canada and the U.S.A. are the two biggest international rivals in women’s ice hockey, and have faced off in multiple gold medal and championship matchups. Canada won the 2022-23 series after winning four straight games following the USA’s 3-0 start, and it’s starting to look like history could repeat itself, with the series currently at 3-2 for the USA.
